Engineering close to the system.
Lomo is an independent engineering practice based in the Netherlands, working across networks, Linux, cloud platforms and security. Technical direction: M. D. Maric.
From the packet to the platform.
The practice draws on network and systems engineering: SDN, hybrid cloud and technical and team leadership at Juniper Networks; security-cloud operations at Zscaler; and external consulting for HPE on live broadcast infrastructure for the 2026 Winter Games.
Founded in 2024, Lomo focuses on infrastructure, reliability and security, including AIOps, MLOps and private AI systems. Local operation and privacy guide the design: make data flows explicit, keep access deliberate and leave decisions open to review.
Leave the reasoning visible.
A useful change is one that the next person can understand and maintain. Clear decisions, readable automation and a tested way back make that possible.
That perspective also informs Lomo CodeSecurity, a local-first, open-source SRE workbench for reviewing security evidence and checking outgoing Git history. Its source preview offers working concepts to inspect and build on.
